Prothotics

The Prothotics™ family of orthoses have been biomechanically designed to meet the exacting standards used by many professional footcare providers. Designed by a group of leading medical professionals, Prothotics orthoses provide a cost-effective method for treatment of many clinical pathologies diagnosed by podiatrists, and other footcare professionals.

These biomechanically designed orthoses go beyond the standard cushion insole products, offering a cost-saving, first step treatment option. Prothotics can relieve many existing conditions, as well as prevent the development of future orthopaedic & foot care problems.

All Prothotics™ are available with VyGel™, a technologically advanced, medical grade, viscoelastic, polyurethane gel designed to provide additional shock absorption in high impact areas, which helps relieve stress to both the lower back and legs.

A non-slip, "stays-in-place", bottom surface on all Prothotics™, the result of a proprietary manufacturing process, allows for a more secure fit and better anatomical positioning of orthoses.

Semi-Flex with Vygel™

Semi-flex orthoses are designed to provide both maximum support and optimal comfort. A thin semi-rigid Superform insert has been added in the area of the longitudinal arch for functional support. Moulded with a deep heel cup, these orthoses provide additional support and cushioning. These orthoses are covered with etc™, a fabric designed to reduce shear force and friction as well as to control moisture inside the shoe. The low profile design of these orthoses allows a proper fit inside almost any kind of footwear. They are designed for people who need maximum arch support while working on hard surfaces for extended periods of time.

PROTHOTICS SEMIFLEX INSOLES

Suitability

The addition of a graphite arch compliments the motion control design with more support for individuals who participate in higher level sports activities.

Indications

The carbon graphite insert provides support to counter the additional weight considerations while still maintaining critical rear foot motion control and shock absorption.

These orthoses have demonstrated relieve for discomfort at the feet, knees and back in the occupational settings typically with hard work surfaces, with indications for heel spur conditions, chondromalacia, low back pain, Achilles tendonitis, sciatica, patello-femoral syndromes, calcaneal apophysitis, iliotibial band discomfort, heel pain, supinated or pronated concerns, and for those with an intolerance for rigid orthotics.

Professional

Available in 3/4 length and full length with Vygel™

Biomechanically engineered and occupationally tested, Professional orthoses are specified for people suffering from chronic lower back, knee and foot pain. These size specific anatomically designed 3/4 and full-length orthoses enhance motion control and alignment to aid in reducing and minimizing the incidence of chronic lower body pain and discomfort. These pre-engineered visco-elastic polyurethane are designed to cradle the heel and support the arch. The 3/4 length, a lower profile is specifically designed to fit a broad range of footwear without compromising fit or function. Professional orthoses are covered with etc™, a fabric designed to reduce shear force and friction and to control moisture inside the shoe.
