The Starflex™ orthotic blank is
a polyester resin, reinforced with glass fibre threads. Its great
advantage lies in its varying thickness, which gives it strength,
flexibility and lightness. This results in a very high rate of patient
tolerance and satisfaction.
Starflex becomes pliable after immersion in boiling
water. Our carefully designed "STAR-CAST" casting system
means the Starflex™ can be moulded directly to the foot.
Starflex will make the basis of a very strong yet thin and lightweight
foot orthotic.
