These orthoses are all heat mouldable and can be used in conjunction
with a grinding machine to achieve customised orthotic devices.
These orthoses have mainly been designed for cost-effective
treatment of paediatric patients as an alternative to expensive
and time consuming custom made devices. However we do supply
these products in some adult sizes.
The main benefit of using preforms for paediatric treatment is that they provide
an economical solution for growing children. In addition to
this, preform orthoses avoid additional appointments for your
young clients as they can be fitted straight off the shelf.
